Webmail : Attachment Opening Issue

Issue: We are aware of an issue where some users are unable to open email attachments from the Webmail interface. Only a limited number of customers are affected.

Root Cause: Browser caching conflict in the webmail interface.

Workaround / Fix: Clearing the browsers cookies and cache resolves the issue.

Steps to Clear Cookies and Cache

Chrome / Edge (Chromium-based browsers):
Open the browser.
Click the three dots (top-right).
Go to Settings : Privacy and Security.
Select Clear browsing data.
Choose Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.
Close and reopen the browser, then log back into Webmail.

Firefox:
Click the menu button (three lines).
Go to Settings : Privacy & Security.
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
Click Clear Data.
Select Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
Click Clear, then restart the browser.

Important Note:
Webmail access, email delivery, sending, and receiving are not impacted.
Only the attachment opening function is affected for a subset of users.

As a part of our ongoing improvements to the Hosted Email Platform, regular maintenance on our network is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, Feb 4th, 2026, at 7:00 PM CST through 10:00 PM CST. No action is required from customers at this time. No impact on regular functionality should be experienced.
